Wembley Stadium (90,000)

Wembley Stadium, which is located in London, was completed in 2007 and replaced the previous famous 'Wembley Stadium'. Wembley is primarily a football stadium and is owned by The Football Association (FA). The stadium hosts England's home international matches and the main English domestic cup finals. It is also used for various other sporting events and concerts. Its capacity of 90,000 makes it the second largest in Europe and is the largest stadium in the world to have every seat covered. In 2011 Wembley will host the UEFA Champions League Final. It will also be used to host many of the events at the forthcoming 2012 London Summer Olympics. The Camp Nou, often called the 'Nou Camp' by English speaking people, is the home of Spanish giants FC Barcelona and has been since its construction in 1957. It is rated by FIFA as a 5-star stadium and has hosted a number of important matches including International games and some UEFA Champions League finals. Horse Race

History
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Historically, equestrians honed their skills through games and races. Equestrian sports provided entertainment for crowds and honed the excellent horsemanship that was needed in battle. Horse racing of all types evolved from impromptu competitions between riders or drivers. All forms of competition, requiring demanding and specialized skills from both horse and rider, resulted in the systematic development of specialized breeds and equipment for each sport.
Chariot racing was one of the most popular ancient Greek, Roman and Byzantine sports. Chariot racing was often dangerous to both driver and horse as they frequently suffered serious injury and even death, but generated strong spectator enthusiasm. In the ancient Olympic Games, as well as the other Panhellenic Games, the sport was one of the most important equestrian events. In mythology, horse racing was also a part of myth and legend, such as the contest between the steeds of the god Odin and the giant Hrungnir in Norse mythology.
The popularity of equestrian sports through the centuries has resulted in the preservation of skills that would otherwise have disappeared after horses stopped being used in combat

Images For Camel Race

Racing camels top speed 40 mph. Can run at 18 mph for one hour or 7 mph for up to 18 hours. In the Gold Cup that was recently run at Nad al-Shiba, the winning camel covered the 10 kilometers in 17 minutes and seven seconds (6.21 miles, averaging 21.76 mph). Because camels' humps store fat-not water- lean, streamlined racing camels have very small, almost vestigial, humps. Compared to an ordinary, run-of-the-desert camel, a racing camel looks like an enormous over-tall greyhound.
